Assistance for Customers impacted by the Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapse

In the aftermath of the tragic collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, our hearts ache for the families of the victims and all those impacted by this tragedy. Being headquartered a few miles from where the Francis Scott Key Bridge stood, we understand the disruption and challenges that this tragedy may bring to our local community, and we are prepared to assist our customers.

Direct Deposit Assistance – Existing demand deposit account customers with established direct deposit financially impacted by the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse, may apply for an overdraft line of credit with no fees and no interest for the initial 90 days after account activation in the amount of the customer’s net pay (up to $6,000). The overdraft line is subject to credit approval based on current underwriting guidelines.

Skip a Payment Program – Existing loan customers financially impacted by the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse may request payment deferments for 1 or 2 months for qualifying loans. Subject to approval.

Other Programs – We also offer other programs that could be tailored to your specific needs.

Additional Assistance: The Small Business Administration (SBA) announced it is helping small businesses impacted by last week’s Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in Baltimore get loans to help them with losses caused by the disruption. The low-interest, long-term federal Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) are for eligible businesses in the entire state of Maryland as well as surrounding areas in the region, including Accomack County on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. The application can be completed online at sba.gov/disaster, where applicants can also receive more information about the loans. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance.
